I have all this "scrap" yarn and yarn balls and have been trying to make them into projects so I have more room for something besides leftover yarn balls. I made this little thing. Actually it started out as another rectangular afghan and I hated the scraps so much I quit and made it into a small thing for the back of the couch. Now I like it. It has a little scalloped edge. Of course the yarn is anything and everything from past projects. Perhaps I have recovered enough to start another afghan...well we will see.

Daisy Afghan
This is the Daisy Afghan I finished yesterday. The Daisy pattern comes from www.bunnymummy.blogspot.com . The sides are done like granny square stripes. I got the idea from
www.attic24.typepad.com . I also connected the squares with Attic 24's join as you go method. I loved using this method. Makes it much easier to connect the squares. I never thought this afghan would be finished. I started it in August of last year but several things including Christmas knitting and crochet work caused it to be put to the side. It measures 59" x 74". I wanted it to be rectangular. After the first border I decided it needed to be bigger and did another fifteen rows of border. That kindof made it gigantic but it is wonderful. Past posts give all the colors and numbers of the yarn. I used Caron's Simply Soft.
I love this afghan.

Yes, I Know
I know that there have been no posts or pictures in a long time. It is frustrating because I am not a "computer whiz" and I have also had many things going on. But I would like to get the new crafty projects posted. So I will be back when I get things settled about posting pix and a computer with an attitude of it's own. By the way anyone else ever gotten frustrated with Picasa? I am ready to pull my hair out. Either that or find another blog source.
