Two weeks ago I posted a picture with stuff I was working on. One thing was a pair of socks. Two weeks later that same sock, the very same sock is at the same working point. It is not that I haven't worked on it, I just can't make any progress. I have had to rip it out at least three if not four times, so many I have lost count. I don't remember having this much trouble with a sock in forever, maybe since I first started knitting them. So after a miscount, a dropped stitch two different times and narrowing down the heel before I had actually made the heel, guess I was trying to get to the next part of the foot fast, I am back to where I was two weeks ago. So here I go again and I am going to try to pick up the heel. Why do I keep punishing myself? Because I love knitting socks. Hopefully next post will have a picture of a finished sock.

Various Projects
These are the projects in my bag by the couch. I go from one to the other as the mood strikes. A couple I have a deadline to finish but a couple are just experiments. How is anyone ever bored?

More Socks Finished
I finished another pair of those socks that I started so long ago I cannot remember when it was. It has again been at least two and a half years. I was distracted by circumstances and knitting for others. Here they are.
They are SWTC's Tofutsies color #872. Yeah, another pair finished! Not only am I clearing out some sock stash (so of course I can start to build it up again) I know at some point cooler weather will come and I will have some new socks to wear.
Ok so these did not come out with the matching stripe look but these are more of a tie-dye in the way the colors formed. Still cool.
I love the look of a Kitchener stitch toe. This is my favorite stitch for socks and I love doing it. So now another pair down and another pair to go. Even though socks use tiny needles and tiny yarn, I love making them.
