Happy United States Constitution Day

 
Today is the 225th anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution. I remember in 6th grade we had a Civics class to study the Constitution. I remember spending about six weeks on a study that included everything about the Constitution. To this day I can still recite the Preamble to the Constitution. We had to write it or say it for a grade. Funny the things that stay with us.
 
Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
 
In these turbulent we should never take anything for granted.
